2026 Annual Youth Fishing Rodeo - Bogue Chitto Refuge

Registration is closed. We are so excited to bring back the Annual Youth Fishing Rodeo to Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge! This year's Fishing Rodeo is Saturday, June 6th, at the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge - Jim Schmidt Boardwalk and Trailhead (Pearl River Turnaround). All children  4-15 years of age are welcome to register for prizes. Each registered angler will receive one tee shirt, bait, the use of a fishing pole, and the whole family gets lunch. Prizes are given for children's age categories, for categories of fish, as well as overall biggest fish. Registrations received after May 13th will not be guaranteed a tee shirt.
