Service Saturdays

This is a volunteer opportunity to help improve our local wildlife refuges. We welcome all volunteers who would like to spend a few hours on projects like trail clearing, sign replacements, boardwalk repairs, painting, grounds cleaning that will improve the refuge for public use. We are excited to offer this work day for those that may need service hours. Please come by for a few hours of light work projects and meet new friends. Any equipment or tools needed for the task will be provided as well as a light snack and water. Please come dress for outdoor work (long sleeves, closed toed shoes, etc). 

For our first work day we will be improving the grounds and trails at the Bayou Gardens Campus of the Southeast Louisiana Refuges Headquarters. Everyone will meet in the parking lot at 8:00am. 

Those under 18 will require a parent-signed volunteer form before work begins.  If under age 16, volunteers must be accompanied by an adult.
